The DJ Project is a set of tools to enhance the user experience of [create Java] on the Desktop.
Currently, the DJ Project integrates Jar files to the Windows platform, with icon support and proper process management.
Tools are also provided to tweak these integration behaviors from graphical applications as well as Ant tasks. It also features a unique packer for WebStart-based applications, to allow offline installations while retaining WebStart's powerful update mechanism.
