It is possible to make a hotsync between the computer running the [create Palm Simulator] and another PC running [create HotSync].

That is really great for debugging, because -
  • you do not need a physical device
  • synchronisation is faster
  • you can inspect the database of the "palm" after the synchronisation, to see how your data really looks like
  • you can make snapshots of a system, to support different test cases
  • you can run the application on different devices, with different region settings, memmory, display, ... (just switch the rom)
  • you "could" also debug the palm os application
  • there is a lot more - however, it rocks:)
